May be I asked for it

But when?

Not when I was awake

Never.. in my wildest dreams.

But what do I claim for
I made no promises
Had left no hope
For I so had never thought

A day shall rise

When you’d think of someone else

I pick up the colors
And paint my soul.

I am not alone now,

I think usually straight,
I lie when cornered,
I like to stand up,
For justice and for honor,

I have phases of songs,
Which dines on my time,
Nestles on my lips,

To be hummed with the stars,
And with sunshine

I usually like to be loved,
And love to be worshiped,
Be it the tender heart of my child,
Or the ones of all my friendships,
Be it the loving gaze of my mother
Or the avid arms of a lover,

When I am the center for others.

Some years winters are cold n loneliness frigid,
I find d shackles of sane normalcy rigid,
Sacrifices empty, decisions all wrong,
Some moments precious, all lost, all gone,
I m not sure of nothing no more,
All ideals all convictions are distant folklores,
Same follies, same flaws,
Same fears same glee
Oh how I cannot, cannot but  avoid,
Being the incorrigible me!

5) Poem – Of Strange Beginnings And Ends

It starts.
He looks at me,
And I try to smile.
He smiles back.
He thinks of what else to do,
And finds nothing.
He smiles again;
It ends.

Memories…
You look at me,

And I try not to smile.
You smile back.
You think of what not to do,
And find something.
You smile again;
It starts.

You promised
To embrace my naked scars
To erase my forbidden lines
And laugh off my gravest sins
You were my savior
My hero

But all it took was
A casual evening
And my life was all over
Your coffee table

And how I wished
This trust
would’ve passed the test of time

Now all that I am

Are your frozen whispers
And the touch
Of your
Last embrace.

The moon is redeemed
in another sky
this aeon,too short for redemption

impregnated with illicit desires
the oceans a fugitive
of the land

the house is naked
windows no longer open
on the outside

the heart of charcoal
is sooted with goldust

it beats no more
it rattles

all this is too insignificant
to excite ’em
the world is bored

war is cheap.

How to be healthy in day to day life?

We all are concerned about our health but do we all seriously pay attention to the things we need to?

We know that eating fruits and vegetables are good for health and we all are familiar from the ill effects of the ready to eat and fast foods. But we don’t that the fruits and vegetables we consume are really healthy or just belong for the sake of their names. We also need to take care of our living habits.

  • Fruits and vegetables if kept for longer time in refrigerator, lose their nutritious value and become the same as the stale ones, even sometimes more harmful.
  • Avoid eating in hotels and restaurants. The quality of food products and spices they use will directly lead you to hospital if you are a habituated of those places.
  • Ready to eat foods, though are tasty, but are full of sodium and fats which are very harmful.
  • Don’t drink water immediately after the food. If slows down the digestion process.
  • Never sleep just after a meal. It adversely affects body metabolism.

If we pay attention to above points, we would be living a healthy and a long life.

How to take care of your eyes?

Health and well-being of our eyes are at stake in today’s fast paced world. Eyes should be taken good care of especially for those who have problems. Early in the morning eyes should be washed but not but splashing water in by force rather letting water seep in. Some time should be taken off while working at a stretch and you should try to concentrate your vision at one spot. Eyes should not be rubbed, rather washed.

Used tea bags or cucumber slices after cooling can be kept over eyelids for relaxation.

A good night sleep and healthy diet with lot of fibrous fruits and vegetables helps prevent dark circles. But if you have developed them then raw potato slices could come to your rescue, rub them over the area and then wash with cold water.

Problems of sensitivity, swollen and bleeding gums are some of the major concerns among people.

Dentists do suggest to use toothpaste which contain salt, well even if you don’t you can always sprinkle some salt on your tooth-brush and then brush.

Toothbrush as suggested should be changed within three months, brushing is also a technique, do not force it on your teeth and try to get rid of all the germs in one go. Especially children should be taught to not rub their brushes but gently move them up and down to avoid rupturing gums.

Some homemade ailments can be useful, for getting rid of foul smells ginger could be boiled in water and then mouth can be rinsed with it.

Calcium rich diet should be consumed not after a problem occurs but always. The mouth is the initial stage where digestion process begins so it is important to keep it healthy. Stay away from harmful habits which affect your well being.

The secret of good health is providing the required nutrition to the body. The type of food that one eats plays a pivotal role in determining how long one will live, how good the health will be and various other things. Nutritious food also helps maintain the body weight. Providing the four major nutrients to the body carbohydrates, fats, proteins and water to the body ensures the body functions well.

Nature has provided various kinds of fruits, vegetable and nuts that provide the required nutrition to the body. Eating the fruits, vegetables, nuts and other food items in appropriate quantity will help keep the body in good condition and free from diseases. Eating the seasonal fruits and vegetables is good for maintain good health.

Eating green leafy vegetables, sprouts and fruits, does wonders to the body. Doing so not only gives good health but also gives the body glow. One must also avoid excess oil consumption as it only harms the body. Maintaining an appropriate balance of carbohydrates, fats and proteins is also important. Nothing should be had in excess. Using the right cooking technique can help retain the nutritious amount of food.
