Short Love Poems - Butterflies And Bows And I Think I Need

Poem – Butterflies And Bows

I color my life in shades of pink
I’d soak up the sun in a single blink
Coz there’s so much more I’m yet to see
Coz there’s so much of me I’m yet to be

All my dolls have their names
My memories locked in picture frames
Coz there is so much in my arms to hold
Coz there are still stories that’ve never been told

I dream of roses and red wine
And of the day a young prince would be mine
Coz there’s so much love I’m yet to feel
Coz there are so many hearts I’m yet to steal

They stare at me and measure my waist
These pretty slimy naggers are such a pest
They blow me smoke I take in air
They say things but I don’t care

Coz they can’t reach me I’m a distant star
Remember always:
No butterfly is too heavy for a flower.

Poem – I Think I Need

A pint of butterflies,
A shot of sighs,
Many a slice of the sky
No opinions, no whys
A few bags filled of efforts
And none too much of strife
Are all i think i need,
For a breath of living,
Of life

Some sons crushed in a plate,
All stars plucked off the nights slate
Each sent to guide a lost
Before time runs out, its too late.

Catch a fistful of abundant time,
And bury it under the sand,
See a planet grow thereof,
Another era, another land.

Steal all the seas from this earth,
And nurture with them my dreamland,
Blow the moon up in fragments,
And light the fires of many a hearth.

Measure the worth of everything gold,
And parlay it to my loves life,
Catch his smile glance and kisses,
To light, to minister,
My years  of shrinking conscious,
And of grave gery old.

Brew some joys in a cauldron,
And pour it all, over the world,
Wish back Lord all the battles
Wipe all lost, all won.

Wish my wishes were no more just wishes,
Wish my wishes were true stone laws,
Wish all hearts were cleansed and linked,
No wrongs ever, ever no flaws,
Wish all goodness had power to be,
Right from the start,
Wishes, wishes and wishes,
Wishes wishes few more and some
Are all i think i need
For a breath of living, of life.

7 Home Improvement, Decor Ideas To Decorate Your New House

7 Home Improvement, Decor Ideas To Decorate Your New House

There is no rush better than the key to a new home being placed in your hand. When you walk through your new home, you won’t think of things you need. After the magic is gone, though, you’ll get down to brass tacks.

Since you’ll bring some furnishings, linens, cleaning supplies, food, and perhaps artwork and books, you won’t need to rush out to buy these. You’d have a good idea if you spent some time in your new home getting to know its rhythms, its moods and what would make you comfortable in it. Then you could go out and buy new things.

1) Lighting

Now you’ve been in your new home for a few days or weeks. You know which sides of the house into which the natural light comes. You will understand when you place your furnishings which walls need light. Sconces, lamps, track lighting, focus lighting, and ambient lighting all have a place in a home. You will figure out which you need and where you need it.

2) Window treatments

Beautiful Window Treatments for your new home

By now you are aware if you have nosy neighbors who casually check out the new neighbor while walking the dog. You know if traffic slows down to look at the house and its owner. You know which windows need treatments as well as what those treatments will be. This is an important and expensive purchase, so do it right the first time. You’ll have years of privacy and enjoyment from this purchase.

3) Tables

George Carlin once did a comedy routine about people and their stuff. He’s right in stating that we need a place for all that stuff. Tables hold stuff, baskets beneath tables hold stuff, and stuff can be hung on walls or dangled from the ceiling. You’ll need a place to put what accumulates in your new house. So hit the flea market, yard sales, and second-hand stores and have some fun!

4) Books and pretty objects

A home needs personality. If you inherited bookcases or hutches from family members, they will need to be filled with something. Nothing is sadder than a piece of furniture with nothing to embrace. Let them embrace your books, crystal objects, wooden pieces, sculpture, perhaps porcelain dolls or sporting things to give your new home that personality.

5) Plants and flowers

Since you’re going to consider how to landscape your new yard, it pays to consider plants and flowers indoors as well. Plants and flowers give a space a lovely perfume. Their colors complement your color scheme and furnishings.

6) Plant paraphernalia

You’ll need gardening-sized shovels and forks. Water hoses and water buckets with spouts will be necessary. Indoors, if the house doesn’t have a mudroom, then the plants and flowers will need to be watered in the kitchen sink or bathtub. Outdoors, you’ll need a lawn mower, weed whacker, and edger as well as rakes and a wheelbarrow.

7) Your dream

Last but not least, whatever you’ve always dreamed of, go out and get it! Don’t let that sofa, king sized bed, or that yard full of fruit trees fade into the woodwork. You deserve a treat, so run out to get your dream now.

Short Love Poems – Point Of No Return And Valentine’s Day

Short Love Poems - Point Of No Return And Valentine's Day

Poem – Point Of No Return

An intrusion is a breach
And an intruder is a convict
That’s the way it stays
No allegory can make it less juvenile

What if you’ve gone too far
And now what’s intruded
Is no longer in front of you
But within

This is the point which dries up my soul
I have given up all that I had
Now I sit and wait
At the other end of the river
With my hands all tied
And the silver brook flowing
Right over my face
This is the point when I want to recede
Back to the time when it all never started

Rue a dream

My arrested soul begs for a retreat
I know not a way out
It’s a sudden lull which
I wasn’t ready for
A void which comes between pleasure and duty
A stance of utter delusion

But I am glad if everything stops right here
For this is where I need to take a turn
Back where I was lost

Lost not dead.

Poem – Valentine’s Day

They say it’s their day, the lovers
And I thought everyday was theirs

A rose day, a hug day
A teddy day and one for chocolates
A day for proposals
A day for promises

A day for promises they have, the lovers
And I thought promises were forever

All these days of romance
Lead to that special one
The day, they celebrate love
The day, they celebrate themselves

They say “you will never understand
Coz you are not in love”
They say “you will be a skeptic
Coz you have never loved”

“You have never loved”
They said to me, the couple
The very moment brought about a faint smile
A smile that was filled with pride

Pride of having loved him
Pride of the promise
The Promise, that was eternal
The celebration that was divine

Eternal promise,
Witnessed by the moonlight
Moonlight shining in the lake

Moonlit night
By the lakeside
His arms
Giving me shelter
His hair, in my hands
As if protecting me from the moonlight
His touch
Making my heart tremble
His lips, calling my name
Yearning to be with me

As he took me in his arms
I closed my eyes and surrender
Surrendered myself to his love,
To his love, to my fate
They say love eludes you
I tasted love, as his lips met mine

As his lips met mine,
My heartbeat just stopped
As if wanting to live a thousand lives,
In that one moment

Even the moon was conspiring
Shining on his hair
Making me fall in love with him
All over again

The one night,
By the lakeside
In the moonlight
When we made love
Like there was no tomorrow

Even cupid will be envious
As It’s not even in his might
To write, a love story
So perfect, so ecstatic

And reminiscing my love
All this while
With that faint smile I just walked by
Letting them, the lovers enjoy their day
The day they call, the Valentine’s Day.

Short Inspirational, Motivational Poems About Life For Women

Short Inspirational, Motivational Poems About Life For Women

1) Poem – That A Day Shall Pass

May be I asked for it

But when?

Not when I was awake

Never.. in my wildest dreams.

But what do I claim for
I made no promises
Had left no hope
For I so had never thought

That..

A day shall rise

And a night would fall

That a possibility existed

That a moment would pass

When you’d think of someone else

And not me…

2) Poem – Chameleon

I pick up the colors
And paint my soul.
I close my eyes to look at what they want me to see.
I am a chameleon;
I change to survive.
I change to be me.

3) Poem – I Am Not Alone Now

I am not alone now,
Your absence lives in me;
like an old wine, your absence lives in me;
a silence that still speaks;
a tear that still smiles;
an unending melody of an unheard music;
an ending,
still to be started…

4) Poem – The Incorrigible Me

I think usually straight,
I lie when cornered,
I like to stand up,
For justice and for honor,
But not always does it stick,
For when the subject is me,
I become weak…

I have phases of songs,
Which dines on my time,
Nestles on my lips,
And the tune becomes mine,
To be hummed with the stars,
And with sunshine

I usually like to be loved,
And love to be worshiped,
Be it the tender heart of my child,
Or the ones of all my friendships,
Be it the loving gaze of my mother
Or the avid arms of a lover,
I love, I love, I do.
When I am the center for others.

Some years winters are cold n loneliness frigid,
I find d shackles of sane normalcy rigid,
Sacrifices empty, decisions all wrong,
Some moments precious, all lost, all gone,
I m not sure of nothing no more,
All ideals all convictions are distant folklores,
Same follies, same flaws,
Same fears same glee
Oh how I cannot, cannot but  avoid,
Being the incorrigible me!

5) Poem – Of Strange Beginnings And Ends

It starts.
He looks at me,
And I try to smile.
He smiles back.
He thinks of what else to do,
And finds nothing.
He smiles again;
It ends.

Memories…
You look at me,

And I try not to smile.
You smile back.
You think of what not to do,
And find something.
You smile again;
It starts.

6) Poem – Secrets

You promised
To embrace my naked scars
To erase my forbidden lines
And laugh off my gravest sins
You were my savior
My hero

But all it took was
A casual evening
And my life was all over
Your coffee table

And how I wished
This trust
would’ve passed the test of time

Now all that I am
Left with
Are your frozen whispers
And the touch
Of your
Last embrace.

7) Poem – Mountains Of Nothing

The moon is redeemed
in another sky
this aeon,too short for redemption

impregnated with illicit desires
the oceans a fugitive
of the land

the house is naked
windows no longer open
on the outside

the heart of charcoal
is sooted with goldust

it beats no more
it rattles

all this is too insignificant
to excite ’em
the world is bored

war is cheap.

Tips To Increase Milk Production And Profits On A Dairy Farm

October 29, 2017 by Micheal White Leave a Comment

Tips To Increase Milk Production And Profits On A Dairy Farm

For every dairy farmer there are a number of issues that have to be resolved in order to maximise production levels and increase profits as a result. It can become a complicated business if you allow it to, but with dairy farming there are a number of variables to your profit and a few simple rules and strategies to adhere to in order to maximise efficiencies. One simple way to work is to always use the highest quality products to increase dairy farm biosecurity levels. This, combined with the strategies outlined in this article will see your dairy farm perform to ever-higher standards in the coming months and years.

The Variable on Profitability of Dairy Farming

There are a number of key variables that can determine, and allow for, an increase in your profit margin as a dairy farm owner. The first thing to consider is the volume of milk sold. If you can increase your milk production levels and commercialization, it allows you to expand without increasing your fixed costs such as heating, electricity and other factors on the farm. Linked to this variable is the price you are selling your milk for, though this hugely depends on the market and the opportunities each specific farm has available to it. By improving the quality of milk and lessening the risk of germs etc. you can increase the price naturally through a clear demonstration of your quality and high standards.

Other variables include the optimization of feeding processes. Utilising certain supplements and processes to feed your herd can help to improve the milk index, generating a higher return on investment. The last variable is that of any maintenance fees that you are obligated to pay. Sometimes these costs can be based on the number of animals you have active on the farm, or linked to manure, animal house and any equipment used for milking.  By boosting productivity you can reduce costs across the board.

How to Increase Milk Production

Before making plans to increase milk production on your dairy farm, first conduct a thorough evaluation of all procedures, equipment and products used, all animal health, housing and other environmental concerns. From there you can put in place strict procedures and policies to help improve animal health and increase milk production and efficiencies.

The first thing to focus on is the management of herd reproductive issues. By increasing the performance of reproduction you can decrease the interval between calving, increasing the chances of diet being fully utilised from mother to calf. There are nutritional supplements that can also be used to assist during this process if natural methods are not working to maximum levels at times. Another important factor to take full control over is the health of your herd. This can be achieved through high standards of nutrition, quality feeding processes and cleaning products and techniques. As well as for the health of each individual cow, the entire housing and management of the herd as a whole should be taken into account.

Through careful management of your dairy herd and the implementation of proper procedures and on-site structures you can increase milk production and your profits as a result.

Quick And Easy DIY Projects For Your Kitchen

June 6, 2017 by Florin Leave a Comment

Quick And Easy DIY Projects For Your Kitchen

Not every project for your kitchen has to involve a long, drawn out process. There are plenty of small updates that will not take entire weekends to accomplish. Here are a few.

Change out those Old Faucets

The plumbing fixtures placed in many homes are usually the simple stock items from construction companies. Therefore, they often lack imagination and unique design. There are hundreds of faucets you can choose from at local hardware stores. If you would like, take a picture of the faucet(s) you want to replace and show an associate upon arrival; this could help you narrow down the choices in terms of shape or material.

Pot Racks

Hanging pot racks about certain parts of the kitchen are a simple way to not only decorate your space, but also to add storage space in unique places. Pot racks can be placed above any kitchen island. This allows the kitchen to remain functional, since usually the space above the island goes untouched anyway.

Under Cabinet Lighting

Lighting under cabinetry is a great addition to the kitchen that adds helpful amounts of lighting for cooking. LED lights are optimal for this feature; there are even LED kits on the market specifically for under-cabinet lighting. At the hardware store, you can choose from those that need to be screwed into the underside of the cabinets, or simpler battery operated kits that stick to the underside.

Cabinet Hardware

Cabinet hardware is one of the easiest ways to place accents all around a kitchen. Counts how many knobs and handles you have; between the drawers and the cabinets, there are more than enough small chances to make your kitchen look modern. Taking pictures is extremely helpful when searching the hardware store; as with faucets, there are hundreds or choices to preview. Also, it is important to take down the CC dimensions of your current pulls. This will assist you in narrowing down the appropriate handles, and save time and money as well. Pay attention to the cost of the knobs and handles, since you will likely be purchasing 20-30 of them to complete the project. You do not have to spend large amounts of revenue to have quality. Perhaps it is best to focus on what you believe looks most unique, and speaks to the design of your kitchen as a whole.

Command Centers

Since living kitchens are such a central place in the home for family, keeping them organized is often a challenge. If it is available, find an empty wall not currently being used and create a storage space for things such as paperwork and other important information. This will simplify the search for important documents, and make it simple for everyone to decide where they should place homework or other papers that need to be accessed easily. This is also a good chance to embed some simple decor items!

Do not forget to have fun with this process. Take the time to look at photos of other’s creations, and alter what you see to fit the uniqueness of your home. Small changes over time will eventually lead to an exciting space for family and friends.
