How to take care of your skin and prevent skin diseases

The skin is the physically exposed part of the body which encounters various harmful microorganisms and pathogens. The altering seasonal environment also has an adverse effect on the skin and its beauty. Loss of moisture also hampers its softness. PYODERMA – These are superficial infections, which resemble pimples. They are more common seasonal changes.

FURUNCULOSIS – These are painful pus-filled bumps on the skin, mainly caused by bacteria Staphylococcus. Tiny cut on the skin surface or sudden removal of hair from skin may cause bacterial entry. Requires treatment on time, otherwise may cause cellulites.

FUNGAL INFECTIONS – One of the most common skin diseases, even more than that caused by bacteria. They not only may affect skin but also hair scalp, infection in mouth may cause oral candidacies. Also causes body ringworm, nail infections, athlete’s foot.

SCABIES – It is caused by a parasite, which causes intense allergic itching

FEW PREVENTIVE MEASURES:

  1. Keep your skin clean. Never let dust accumulate over it.
  2. Use antifungal/antibacterial soaps and creams.
  3. Don’t let your skin be wet always.
  4. Any skin rashes may be a sign of infection, so never ignore them, take proper action on time.
