3) How to check whether eggs are fresh or stale?
Most of us are fond of eggs. We consume the eggs in one or the other forms, may be boiled, or taken as a spicy dish. The source may vary, you may either buy to prepare at your home or go to restaurants. But very few of us would be aware of the facts that eggs also get stale and may be rotten too.
Normally we all are not able to recognize whether the eggs (raw and uncooked) supplied to us are fresh or not. But here is a simple way by which you can know about the freshness. What you have to do is just take a beaker full of water. Put the eggs into it and wait for it to settle down. If eggs remains on the top and float on the water, it indicates that they are not fresh. At the same time if they settle down in the beaker they are fresh.
The scientific reason behind this is that as eggs age, gases build up inside the shell making it more buoyant, which makes it to float on water.
So now, check before you eat!!
